Description of the organisation

Madeira Tecnopolo (MT) is a private company mainly owned by the public sector. Its main shareholders are the Regional Government of Madeira, the University of Madeira and the Young Entrepreneurs Association. MADEIRA TECNOPOLO serves as a platform to stimulate and leverage local development in a few selected areas like IT and Tourism, Cultural content and Environment.

Activities

• Project Management at the Local, National and European levels;
• Exhibitions, Congresses, Seminars, Fairs, etc, through CIFEC (International Congress and Exhibition Centre of Madeira Tecnopolo);
• Consultative and advisory partner of the Regional Government for the ICT sector (Information & Communication Technologies);
• Training in ICTs (mainly Internet related)
