PROMPT
stands for Peripheral Regions Oriented Measures for
Promotional of Technological Intelligence.This
European project is a Specific Support Action under the "Stepping up Economic
and Technological Intelligence" (ETI) programme of the Sixth Framework
Programme aiming at stimulating SME participation in European Research
Activities.
For SMEs and organisations located in the peripheral
regions of Europe, to join the very best of Europe’s technological
organisations in complex and high-tech research projects aiming at results of
world level excellence is of course no easy task, and this is the main
objective of the PROMPT project: to facilitate transnational technological
cooperation and create the conditions for successful participation of
organisations from peripheral regions of Europe in Research Activities of the
Framework Programs.
